Door lock repairs

A faulty door lock can be a serious inconvenience and may affect your home security. Tony can repair or replace many types of door locking mechanisms, including multi-point locking systems and gearboxes. If the door has become difficult to lock, it is best to get it checked before the mechanism fails completely.

Door handle replacement

Loose, broken or worn door handles can usually be replaced without changing the full door. We can supply and fit replacement handles for many PVCu, aluminium and composite doors, restoring normal use and improving the appearance of the door.

Door types

French doors, composite doors & more

French door repairs

French doors can develop issues with alignment, locking, handles, gaskets and mechanisms. Tony can assess the problem and advise whether the doors can be adjusted, repaired or fitted with replacement parts.

Composite door repairs

Composite front doors are strong and attractive, but handles, locks and mechanisms can still wear or fail over time. Where repairs are possible, we will advise you. If replacement is the better option, we can discuss suitable replacement door choices.

Repair first, replace if needed

Our first aim is always to find a practical repair. If the door is beyond repair or replacement would be more sensible, Tony will explain the options clearly — straightforward advice based on the condition of the door, the availability of parts and the most cost-effective long-term solution.
